Vermont is boosting new homes that can cut energy use in half

According to Canary Media, Vermont has received its largest delivery of superefficient manufactured homes. These all-electric homes are equipped with heat pumps that slash energy consumption by more than half compared to new conventional homes, delivering significant savings for residents. The homes are part of a pioneering state program aimed at making affordable housing more sustainable.
