Tornado wreaks havoc in village in southwestern France

A tornado tore through the village of Pomas in southwestern France late Monday, damaging around three hundred of its five hundred homes and injuring dozens, France 24 reports. Authorities called it a rare and traumatic event, and said about one hundred of the damaged homes may no longer be safe to live in.
