Smart water filters are the latest target for security research. Hackaday reports that Tomasz Wasilczyk recently purchased a Waterdrop G3P600 reverse-osmosis system and discovered a vulnerability in its connected faucet interface. The discovery shows why manufacturers are racing to add internet features without adequately hardening their devices.
