Nepal flash flood live updates: more than 500 missing in Tibet, reports China, amid search for hundreds of tourists

At least one hundred sixty-five people have died in flash flooding on the Nepal-Tibet border, with hundreds of foreign nationals reported missing. According to The Guardian, officials believe roughly three hundred forty foreign nationals — from India, the US, UK, Australia, Malaysia, and Ukraine — are among the missing, many of them hikers and climbers drawn to the Himalayas' highest peaks, including Everest.
