HamsterOS is a complete 32-bit desktop OS on a single 1.44 MB floppy

HamsterOS is a complete thirty-two-bit desktop operating system that fits on a single one point four four megabyte floppy disk. According to the Adafruit Blog, this retro engineering feat boots through a trimmed FreeDOS wrapper, launches the thirty-two-bit HamsterOS kernel, and runs a windowed desktop on vintage three-eighty-six and four-eighty-six era hardware. The bootable floppy can even install or upgrade a system on ATA hard disk from its boot menu.
