Running Multiple Linux Kernels Without Hypervisor

Hackaday reports a new project dubbed Mklinux that lets several independent Linux kernels run side‑by‑side on bare metal, without a hypervisor. A host kernel partitions the hardware resources, promising near‑perfect isolation and performance gains that benchmarks claim are comparable to, or up to twice as fast as, traditional KVM virtual machines. The developers have published a website with setup instructions and architectural details for anyone who wants to try it out.
