Bite Into Strange Sounds With NOISFERATU
tech
According to Hackaday, an open-source generative synthesizer called NOISFERATU launched yesterday, offering sound designers a tool for creating unconventional audio textures. The project, created by Robert Heel, provides forty-five different sound modes — as Heel himself notes, it's "a sound designer's dream and audiophile's worst nightmare." The synthesizer is freely available for makers and musicians experimenting with generative sound design.
