NASA Roman Arrives at Launch Pad, Mission Briefings Scheduled

A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket carrying the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope has rolled out to its launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. As NASA Science tells it, the telescope is roughly the size and weight of a school bus, requiring the rocket's five million pounds of thrust to reach a destination more than a million miles from Earth. The agency and SpaceX are currently targeting liftoff for seven twenty-six a.m. on Sunday, August thirtieth.
