Protests as India’s Hindu nationalists take centre stage in New York

Al Jazeera reports that demonstrators rallied in New York City against a celebration hosting Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the RSS. The RSS, or Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, is a Hindu nationalist volunteer organization. Protesters gathered to voice their opposition to the event.
