A woman named Renee is missing after a flood struck Gyirong Port on the Nepal border, and her partner and daughters are now fundraising in Australia to travel and join the search, The Guardian reports. Renee's sister, Clair Spry, says her sibling would want the focus kept on the Nepali people who've been displaced and traumatized, not on herself. Spry framed the search as part of the wider toll the climate crisis is taking on the world's most economically vulnerable populations.
