The man who murdered Molly Ticehurst will not face a life sentence, a judge has ruled. Ticehurst, a twenty-eight-year-old childcare educator, was found dead at her home in Forbes, in New South Wales, in the early hours of April twenty-second, twenty twenty-four, in a domestic violence killing that galvanized a national movement against gendered abuse. According to The Guardian, Justice Natalie Adams said she was troubled by expert evidence concerning rape allegations contained in the slain woman's police statement.
