How ICE arrests are creating 'economies of fear'

The Indicator reports that Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested nearly fifty thousand people in July, the largest monthly total recorded during President Trump’s second term. A researcher interviewed on the show says the surge in ICE activity is spawning what they call an “economy of fear” in cities across the country, and they have data to back that claim. ICE, the enforcement arm of the Department of Homeland Security, is thus seen as fueling an atmosphere of fear nationwide.
