Man shot and killed in Sydney home invasion was ‘targeted attack’, police believe

A man in his early twenties was shot and killed in what police are calling a targeted home invasion in Glen Alpine, in Sydney's south-west. The Guardian reports the attack happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning while the man was home with his family, and multiple offenders allegedly broke in. A homicide investigation is now underway, with the alleged attackers still at large.
