Russian strikes on Kyiv kill at least 13 – Europe live

Russian forces launched a major overnight strike on Kyiv, according to The Guardian World. At least twenty sites were targeted, with President Zelenskyy stating that most were ordinary residential buildings. The attack killed at least thirteen people and left nearly ninety injured. Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, announced the city will observe a day of mourning on Friday to honor the victims.
