Data of 70,000 people compromised in cybersecurity incident involving SLA’s vendor IBM

According to Channel NewsAsia, Singapore Land Authority's data has been compromised through a cybersecurity incident involving IBM, one of its vendors. Unauthorized access to a development and testing dataset exposed personal information for around seventy thousand people. The exposed data includes names, personal identification numbers, and past residential addresses. The breach highlights security risks even in non-production environments used for software development and testing. Authorities are investigating the incident.
