Visiting the stars (and planets, and telescopes) in VR

The Smithsonian has opened a new virtual reality experience that takes visitors on a walkthrough of the cosmos. According to Ars Technica, the exhibit allows you to visit distant stars, explore newly discovered exoplanets, and tour iconic observatories—all without leaving the museum. It's astronomy on demand.
