According to France 24, Venezuela is reeling from two powerful earthquakes that struck last week — magnitude seven point two and seven point five — leaving at least two thousand six hundred forty-five dead and more than twelve thousand injured. The coastal town of La Guaira was hit hardest, with scores of residential buildings reduced to rubble. As hope of finding survivors fades, families are now desperately searching for the bodies of their loved ones.
