According to France 24, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands are bracing for the arrival of Super Typhoon Bavi. The storm is forecast to bring maximum sustained winds of two hundred eighty kilometres per hour, with gusts potentially reaching three hundred thirty-three kilometres per hour — equivalent to a category-five hurricane. Residents are already experiencing howling winds and heavy rain as preparation efforts intensify across the US Pacific territories.
