Some Lebanese Christian villages 'asked to be annexed to Israel', Netanyahu says

According to reporting from France twenty-four, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claims some Christian villages in southern Lebanon have asked to be annexed by Israel for protection from the militant group Hezbollah. Netanyahu also reaffirmed that Israeli troops will remain in southern Lebanon indefinitely.
