An annotated disassembly of BBC Basic 4r32, the final version by Acorn for 6502

tech

According to Adafruit Blog, someone has posted a comprehensive annotated disassembly of BBC BASIC version four release thirty-two—Acorn's legendary sixty-five zero two BASIC interpreter from the nineteen-eighties. The GitHub account may belong to Raspberry Pi founder Eben Upton, though this remains unconfirmed. The disassembly not only preserves this piece of computing history but also corrects several math functions. Two ready-to-use sixteen kilobyte ROM images are now available: a standard version and a speed-optimized variant, both suitable for assembly with beebasm. For retrocomputing enthusiasts and those exploring vintage personal computer architecture, this represents a significant preservation effort.
