US airman accused of exposing himself to 16-year-old girl avoided British trial

According to The Guardian, a US airman accused of indecent exposure in England avoided the British justice system after the US military was allowed to take control of his case. Cambridgeshire police say the airman, Hannes Marschalek, exposed himself to a sixteen-year-old girl and four young women as they walked past his home in Littleport in twenty twenty-two. Rather than face a British trial, the matter was handled through a US court martial.
