NASA’s New Horizons Spacecraft Wakes from Hibernation in Good Health

According to NASA News, the New Horizons spacecraft has woken up healthy after its longest hibernation yet — nearly a year of dormancy. Flight controllers at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Maryland confirmed the wake-up on June twenty-third. Now the probe is ready to start beaming home the science data it gathered in the Kuiper Belt, the icy region far beyond Pluto.
