Australia's largest mobile network went dark for many users on Wednesday morning. According to The Guardian, Telstra has apologised for a major outage that left thousands of customers unable to make calls or access data, disrupted regional trains, and affected triple-zero emergency calls. The carrier, which powers around twenty-five million mobile services nationwide, blamed the failure on an issue with a time-keeping server. Telstra says ninety percent of services were restored after ten a.m. eastern time as it worked to bring the network back online.
