Australia's largest mobile network stumbled Wednesday morning, and the culprit was time itself. According to The Guardian, Telstra has blamed a faulty time-keeping server for a major outage that left thousands of customers unable to make calls or use data on a network that carries about twenty-five million mobile services nationwide. The disruption reached beyond phones, halting some regional trains and affecting triple-zero emergency calls. Telstra says ninety percent of services were restored after ten a.m. eastern time, and has apologised for the interruption.
