Telstra outage: triple-zero calls affected by network glitches as regional train services slowly resume

tech

According to The Guardian, some Telstra customers in Australia are still unable to reach the triple-zero emergency line a day after the carrier's national mobile network went down. Telstra says a secondary issue stemming from Wednesday's outage carried into Thursday morning, with some callers getting an error message before their phones try to connect to an alternative network. Regional V/Line train services, also disrupted by the outage, are slowly resuming.
