Germany puts the squeeze on Lime and Bolt with tougher e-scooter liability rules

According to Euronews, Germany has tightened liability rules for rental e-scooter companies like Lime and Bolt. The move addresses a safety concern: rental scooters represent roughly one-fifth of insured e-scooters but account for around forty percent of insurance claims.
