Medieval masterpiece Bayeux Tapestry arrives in London

The Bayeux Tapestry, a monumental eleventh-century textile record of the Norman invasion, has reached London for the first time in over nine hundred years. The celebrated medieval artifact—an intricately embroidered chronicle of the Battle of Hastings—is now on display at the British Museum following an extraordinarily secure transport from France. According to France 24, the tapestry will be exhibited through July twenty twenty-seven, marking a historic cultural loan and strengthening Franco-British relations.
