Child abuser who preyed on orphans housed at Christian Brothers property

According to The Guardian, records it obtained show that properties owned by the Christian Brothers, a Catholic order, were used to house at least two members with histories of child sexual abuse. One brother preyed on orphans, while another was reportedly kept in teaching positions for nearly three decades after senior officials became aware of his offending. The report comes after the order angered survivors last month by declaring it was close to going broke, saying it could no longer afford to meet their compensation claims in court.
