Man, 28, arrested over murder of former MP Ann Widdecombe

The Guardian reports that a twenty-eight-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Ann Widdecombe, the former British MP, who was found dead at her Devon home on Thursday. Police say the suspect, a white British national, was detained at an address in South Yorkshire on Saturday evening and remains in custody.
