Massive Bangkok pub fire kills at least 27 people, Thai officials say

A fire tore through a bar in Bangkok late on Sunday, killing at least twenty-seven people and injuring sixty-three, France 24 reports, citing Thai officials. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said the blaze spread rapidly, and that smoke is believed to have been the main cause of death. Authorities have opened an investigation into what started it.
