Planes sent to tackle wildfires of 'exceptional scale' near Paris

Firefighting planes have been deployed against wildfires of what's described as exceptional scale near Paris. As BBC World tells it, it was the first time such aircraft had been sent up from the normally drier, hotter south of the country to battle blazes in the Paris region. The feed doesn't include further detail on the scale of the damage.
