Cut And Fold Your 3D Printer’s Next Cover

tech

Hackaday is featuring a clever enclosure design for the Snapmaker U-one three-D printer that ditches both three-D printing and expensive materials in favor of corrugated plastic sheet, cut and assembled with nothing but tape. The designer created a die-cut pattern that folds together into a top cover—retaining heat, blocking drafts, and keeping dust away from the build area—while allowing access to the extruders. Sometimes the best solution is the cheapest and simplest one.
