OnePlus ends phone releases in US and Europe, further reducing smartphone choice

OnePlus has confirmed it's ending new phone releases in North America and Europe. The brand, which launched over a decade ago with the promise of faster and cheaper smartphones, will stop rolling out new models in these markets after the OnePlus 15, released in late twenty twenty-five. Per Ars Technica, OnePlus had already been shifting its attention to India following the pandemic while becoming increasingly integrated with its parent company, Oppo. The move further reduces smartphone options for Western consumers as the market continues to consolidate.
