He is the third person to die at a Russian gas station since late June, following a seventy-five-year-old driver in Petrozavodsk and a forty-three-year-old man near a station in Chita. Russia's ongoing fuel crisis has left drivers waiting in line for hours, and many regions have capped how much gas a vehicle can pump per visit, with some rationing fuel by license plate number or QR code.
