SpaceX scrubs Starship launch after some of its engines didn't start

tech

SpaceX cancelled a test launch of Starship on Thursday when the Super Heavy booster's engines failed to ignite during final countdown, Ars Technica reports. The four-hundred-foot rocket had been fully fueled with more than eleven-point-five million pounds of liquid methane and oxygen at the company's South Texas spaceport when computers halted the startup sequence after detecting the problem. The launch team then drained the propellant and did not announce a new launch date.
