The Pentagon's Space Development Agency hasn't moved as fast as anyone would like

The Pentagon's Space Development Agency was created in 2019 to speed up military space systems by cutting through traditional bureaucracy. Seven years later, Ars Technica reports the SDA is finally launching its first operational satellites. But the Pentagon is now planning to shut the agency down and fold it back into the Space Force in a bid to streamline weapons buying. Congress has backed the closure in the National Defense Authorization Act. The agency designed to move faster is being dissolved just as it's starting to deliver results.
