An employee of a company that operates an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Colorado has been arrested after shooting and wounding a woman on Thursday evening, The Guardian reports. According to the Aurora police department, the woman had taken part in a protest outside the facility earlier that day. Officers who arrived on the scene found her with a gunshot wound to her lower body; a friend who was with her was unharmed. The suspect, identified as Brandon Booth, fired the shot and drove off, and the woman's injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
