As gang violence expands, Haiti's humanitarian crisis worsens

RFI English reports that armed gangs now control nearly all of Port-au-Prince and are pushing their reach beyond the Haitian capital. Kenscoff, once a peaceful farming town on the city's outskirts, has come under attack again in recent days. RFI notes the violence threatens to deepen food insecurity that the United Nations already describes as acute, compounding a humanitarian crisis that keeps widening as the gangs advance.
