Common antidepressant may ease long COVID’s crushing fatigue

A low-cost antidepressant called fluvoxamine is showing promise for long COVID's most disabling symptom: crushing fatigue. In a randomized trial of nearly four hundred adults, it significantly reduced fatigue and improved quality of life compared with placebo. ScienceDaily reports it's one of the first medications to demonstrate meaningful benefits for this condition.
