Russia has launched one of its largest ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv to date, pounding the Ukrainian capital for roughly five hours. The Guardian reports that at least one person was killed and seven injured, with fires and damage spreading across the city. Ukrainian officials said Kyiv was struck by around forty Iskander-M and hypersonic Zircon missiles, dozens of them arriving in under an hour after air raid sirens sounded at half past one in the morning.
