Iran seeks to 'sow confusion among Gulf states' by targeting Bahrain and Kuwait

Iran is striking Bahrain and Kuwait with drones and missiles, and analysts say the choice of targets may be deliberate. RFI English spoke with Mahdi Ghuloom of the Dubai-based think tank ORF Middle East, who argues the attacks are meant to sow confusion among Gulf states. As he tells it, long-standing tensions, the small size of the two countries, and disagreements over how the Gulf should respond are all feeding into the moment. The concern is that a divided response leaves these smaller states exposed.
