Niger's military government marked three years in power this Monday, with former ambassador Kiari Liman-Tinguiri telling RFI English the country now shows strong oil-driven growth alongside rising jihadist violence and tightened political freedoms. The junta took power in 2023 after ousting President Mohamed Bazoum.
