British Airways flight called mayday on approach to Heathrow

British Airways crew declared a mayday while approaching Heathrow, BBC News reports, after an Airbus A320 flying in from Dusseldorf logged two stall warnings on July the sixth. Mayday is the highest-priority distress call in aviation, reserved for situations posing a serious and imminent threat to the aircraft.
