Healey’s profiteering warning on food and fuel sparks retailer anger

The Guardian reports that Chancellor John Healey has warned the government will guard against profiteering as the Iran war pushes prices higher. Though he said there's been no significant evidence of price gouging so far, Healey used a column to tell major retailers that ministers are watching closely for any signs of profiteering.
