Capital One says it closed Trump Organization accounts over money-laundering concerns

Capital One has disclosed that it closed hundreds of Trump Organization accounts in twenty twenty-one, and the bank is now asking a judge to dismiss a lawsuit from Trump-affiliated businesses over the closures. Per NPR News, Capital One argues the decision stemmed from an internal anti-money-laundering review, not in response to the January sixth riot.
