Healey’s profiteering warning on food and fuel risks row with retailers

According to The Guardian, Chancellor John Healey has warned retailers the government won't let shoppers be taken for a ride at the pump or till as the Iran war continues to drive up prices. While Healey said there's been no significant evidence of price gouging during the crisis, he told major retailers in a weekend column that ministers are watching closely for any signs of profiteering.
