Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos Set $200 Million Fund to Recover Endangered Species

Per Variety, Leonardo DiCaprio's Re:wild and the Bezos Earth Fund have announced the Phoenix Species Project—a two hundred million dollar initiative to recover one hundred species facing imminent extinction. It spans mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds, fish, invertebrates, and plants in thirty countries, from ocean habitats to volcanic plains.
