Record high for referrals to Prevent anti-terror scheme including 20% rise for rightwing extremism

Per The Guardian, official data released Thursday shows the UK's Prevent anti-terror programme hit a record high: ten thousand two hundred ninety-three referrals in the year to September twenty twenty-five, up thirty-nine percent from the prior year. Referrals related to extreme right-wing ideology climbed twenty percent, marking the highest referral count in the eleven years since records began.
