Ivorian drum, looted by France, goes on display for first time

Per RFI, the Djidji Ayokwe, a sacred talking drum taken by French colonial troops in 1916, arrived in its home village in Côte d'Ivoire on Friday for public display. The drum was repatriated in March after more than a century in France, and local people saw it for the first time since its return.
