Many of Iran’s demands ‘already agreed to’ by US in June MoU

Iran issued demands Saturday for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which have been characterized as fresh preconditions. According to FRANCE 24's reporting from Washington, though, many of these demands were already agreed to by the United States in a Memorandum of Understanding signed with Iran in Islamabad back in June. The difficulty, the outlet notes, was that the language in the agreement was quite broad.
